Welcome Back to All KJGA Junior Golfers
KJGA held its first event of the 2026 Season yesterday at the Wailua Golf Course. The weather was great and it was great to see all the kids back on the course playing some golf.
In the boys 15-18 division it was Caleb Ito securing the win with a 75. Shane Murphy took home 2nd place with 78 and Stirling McLoughlin secured 3rd with an 80.
In the boys 13-14 division Kai Taylor was the low man firing a 79. 2nd place was locked up by Ayven Labuguen shooting 83. First year member Maverick Fitchett took home 3rd with a 93.
In the boys 9-10 division it was Action Herndon taking home the win with a 98. Owen Lewis captured 2nd with 108 and Asher Labuguen secured 3rd with 123.
In the girls 13-14 division Lauryn Lee was the only entry but still shot a very nice 79 with 3 birdies for the win.
In the girls 11-12 division Emi Sayegusa got the win with a 92 edging out 2nd place finisher Aya Hall’s 93 by 1 shot. 3rd place honors went to Boone Clifton with 99.
In the girls 9-10 division Kaia Ceria Lux got the win shooting 96. Right behind her in 2nd place was Mary Beth Clifton with 98. Beckett Braun secured 3rd shooting 106.
Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone that came out and played. We hope to see everyone on Sunday, May 17th at the KJGA fundraiser at Puakea and at our next tournament on June 20th at the Makai Golf Club in Princeville.
