KJGA Girls Play in 2026 State Golf Championship

The 2026 David Ishii State Golf Championship brought together the best girls high school golfers from across the state of Hawaii to compete at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course on Oahu.

In all 5 KJGA girls made it to the state tournament. Juliette O’Shaughnessy and Mehana Guy led the Kapa’a HS contingent with Juliette shooting 97/94 191 and Mehana shooting 93/98 191 to tie for 53rd overall. Both Juliette and Mehana are juniors and will likely be back for one more run at the state tournament next year.

Kauai High School seniors Sydney Ito and Madison Perreira also did well at the Klipper with Sydney shooting 92/95 187 for 51st place and Maddie shooting 94/105 199 for 58th place. Waimea HS senior Brynn Lee Hirata shot 100/104 204 for 62nd place.

Congratulations to all the girls on making it the state championship tournament and representing Kauai.
